Join us for this transfer preparation program
July 8-10, 2025
Students who just graduated from high school (class of 2025) and plan to attend a community college that is part of the UC Davis Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) are invited to participate in a free, three-day, two-night summer residential intensive transfer preparation program. Jumpstart your knowledge on how you can earn a university degree by transferring from your community college.
Applications open in May
Topics include:
- Majors and career discovery
- Transfer requirements
- Academic preparation and planning
- Financial literacy
- Transfer resources and tools
- Peer mentoring
Time commitment
Arrive at UC Davis campus at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8 and stay for the entirety of the program, until 2 p.m on Thursday, July 10.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this event, students must:
- Graduate from high school this year, Class of 2025
- Plan to attend a community college in fall 2025 that is partnered with UC Davis TOP
This program serves entering California community college students from economically and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds and geographically underserved communities.
Program cost
Aggie to Be, or A2B, is free. Housing, meals, and program supplies are provided. Students who are accepted to participate as A2B scholars will need to provide their transportation to and from the UC Davis campus for this event
