1. Physical Support

What should I do if I am hurt, sick or in physical danger?

  • Emergency Services
    If you think you are in immediate danger, call 911 or call the UC Davis Police Department at 530-752-1230.
     
  • Acute/Crisis Care
    Get care for a sudden illness or injury including a broad range of concerns such as sore throats, ear infections, bladder infections, injuries, fractures and asthma attacks.
     
  • 24/7 Non-Emergency Medical Support
    Call 530-754-3434 for a rapid response from the Health 34 team, available 24/7 for on-campus basic medical support and help finding the right resources.
     
  • UC Davis Police Department
    Visit the UC Davis Police Department website or call 530-752-1727 to report a non-emergent crime.
     
  • Preparing for a Campus Emergency
    Access emergency resources and learn what to do in the case of a campus emergency.

  • Request a Welfare Check
    Request a welfare check for a student, staff or faculty member if you are concerned about their mental or physical wellbeing.

  • Map of Emergency Blue Call Boxes
    Pushing the button calls 911 and makes you visible to dispatchers. To activate the map overlay, in the menu on the left click “Student & Staff Resources”, and click the toggle for “Emergency Blue Lights"

Where can I get help quickly for a mental health issue?

  • 988 Suicide Lifeline
    Call or text 988 for support for suicidal, mental health and/or substance use crisis or if you just need someone to talk to.
     
  • Crisis Counseling
    Call 530-752-0871 anytime for same-day crisis counseling appointments with a UC Davis counselor or visit the Acute Care Clinic at the Student Health and Wellness Center during office hours.
     
  • 24/7 Non-Emergency Mental Health Support
    Call 530-754-3434 for a quick response from the Health 34 team, available 24/7 for on-campus basic mental health support and help finding the right resources.
     
  • Support through Texting
    Text "RELATE" to 741741 for free, 24/7 crisis counseling via text.
