May 3 to 8, Monday to Saturday -- The Asian American Association, a student group at UC Davis, invites the public to explore Asian American culture through film. The free Asian American Association Film Festival will present movies and shorts and hold discussions relating to Asian Americans. Organizers aim to show the diversity of Asian Americans missing in mainstream media. Start times for the evening screenings, to be held in Chemistry 194, will range from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. A complete schedule and other information is available at http://davisaaa.org/film/.
