Like many of you, I am deeply troubled by President Trump’s executive order restricting entry into the country by people from seven countries. Our university is one that embraces scholars and workers of all backgrounds and ideals, which is rooted in our Principles of Community. I am committed to continuing to work with the University of California Office of the President, to understand the impact of this executive order.
