Feb. 27-March 1, Friday-Sunday -- Tasting Histories: Food and Drink Cultures Through the Ages will bring together scholars, research scientists, growers and farmers in a three-day study of food, wine and culture. The event is open to the media.
The conference will take place in the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, a new facility on the UC Davis campus that houses programs in sensory science, food science and technology, and viticulture and enology. The conference is sponsored by the UC Davis Humanities Institute and the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science.
